Data Privacy Statement

Thank you very much for visiting our webites. In accordance with the legal requirements (EU General Data Protection Regulation GDPR, Federal Data Protection Act BDSG) we would like to inform you about the collection and processing of personal data upon a visit to our websites. Personal data is information related to identifiable subjects.
You do not have to disclose your identity in order to use our websites. Upon a visit of our websites only connection data will be transmitted and cookies will be stored on your computer. This is neither mandatory by law nor required by contract. However, we will explain to you in the following text, why the functionality of our websites would not be fully ensured without this data collection. In principle, we do not pass on your transmitted personal data without your explicit consent, unless we are legally obliged to do so. Exceptions will be explained in the below text. However, we would like to point out that there is always a chance that transmitting data on the internet may lead to third parties obtaining or falsifying your data.

Automatic data processing on these websites
The provider of these websites automatically stores information in log files. Your browser automatically transmits this information. The information stored includes browser type / browser version, operating system used, referrer URL, IP address, and time of server request. The collection of log files ensures a smooth connection buildup and the use of our websites. Log files may also be used to evaluate system security and for administrative purposes. This data cannot be traced back to specific people. This data will not be combined with other data or data sources. We collect this data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) Pnt. f GDPR with the legitimate interest of ensuring full functionality of our websites. This data will be deleted once it is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected.

Cookies
Our websites use cookies, which are small text files that your browser stores on your computer. These cookies help make the websites more user-friendly, as well as safer and more effective. The main type of cookies that we use are “session cookies”. These cookies are deleted automatically at the end of your browser session. When you accept our cookie information banner upon your first visit to our websites, a specific cookie will be stored for a maximum of one year in order to avoid repeated cookie acceptance queries upon return visits to our websites. Cookies do not cause any harm to your computer and they do not contain viruses. If you do not want your browser to store cookies, you can configure your browser so that it does not store cookies, or you can configure it in such a way that you will be informed before any cookies are stored, allowing you to decide whether or not they should be stored on a case-by-case basis.
The data stored in cookies will not be linked to any personal data of the user (like name, address, etc.). We use cookies on the basis of Art. 6 (1) Pnt. f GDPR with the legitimate interest of enabling and facilitating the use of our websites.

Usage of script libraries (Google Web Fonts)
In order to display the contents of our websites correctly and graphically pleasing across browsers we use sript libraries and font libraries like Google Web Fonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). This is a legitimate interest according to Art. 6 (1) Pnt. f GDPR. Google Web Fonts are transfered to the cache of your browser in order to avoid multiple loading. If your browser does not support Google Web Fonts or if you deny access by disabling execution of scripts in your browser settings, the website contents will be displayed in a default font.
The calling of script libraries and font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the library provider. In theory, this allows the provider of such libraries to collect data, but it is currently unclear if and to what end this happens at all.
You can find the data privacy policy of the library provider Google at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.
Data processing by Google is done in the USA within the scope of the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework (https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework).
We do not collect any personal data by using script libraries.
